At 89, Doctor Hida, a survivor of the 1945 atomic bomb at Hiroshima, continues to care for some of the other 250,000 survivors. Atomic Wounds retraces his journey to understand the ongoing impacts of radiation and the illnesses of his patients. This documentary examines the extent of US and Japanese suppression of crucial data on this issue, with the potential to impact on the global nuclear industry.
