Subscription commencement date
Your subscription will commence with the next available issue. Note that it is a quarterly publication so depending on when you subscribe it may take up to 3 months to be emailed your first issue. You will receive newsletters from us throughout the term of your subscription.

Non-receipt of item
If the address provided on your order is incorrect (e.g. incorrectly entered when you ordered, you have neglected to update your mailing address prior to the magazine being sent, or you move after ordering the magazine), we will provide you with a digital edition – a replacement will not be sent.

If the item is returned to our address, you can pay shipping of $4.95/EUR4.95. to have the magazine resent to you.

Magazines are sent from the UK (except for Australia, which are sent from Australia) – if you live in a country outside of the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or the US, we do not take responsibility for magazines that do not arrive as we cannot guarantee the efficacy of the mail system in all countries. In the case of non-receipt of item in these countries, we will provide you with a digital edition – a replacement will not be sent. Should you wish to have your magazines delivered by courier, please get in touch with us for a quote.

New Philosopher is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products.  We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct.

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully. We do not provide refunds if you change your mind, your circumstances change, or you make a wrong decision. We do not take responsibility for items that are damaged in transit – if your mailbox cannot fit magazines or isn’t waterproof, please contact your post office about delivery to ensure that the magazine doesn’t arrived damaged. If you would like to have your magazine(s) sent in a waterproof bag, this will cost an additional AUD$10/EUR10 for a single magazine, AUD$20/EUR20 for a box/multiple magazines. Please get in touch with us to arrange this.

Should we for any reason be unable to send you magazines, any remaining issues will be fulfilled by sending you a digital edition of one of our magazines.

Shipping and Delivery Policy – online store orders of back issues
We deliver products around the world using Australia Post and Royal Mail (UK). Shipping costs are included in the price displayed. Orders are dispatched within 5 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 10-20 business days (2-4 weeks) depending on your location within Australia and the UK. Orders outside the UK and Australia take between 10-30 business days (2-6 weeks) Рthe further you are from our distribution centres in the UK and Australia, the longer the timeframe. [Note 4th October 2020: due to COVID-19, orders from May-September were  sent by sea mail and will take up to 12 weeks. From October 1 will be sent by air mail.]

Please note that delivery fees and handling fees are non refundable. Should you wish to exchange or return a faulty physical item purchased online, contact news ‘at’ newphilosopher.com.
