Clive Hamilton is an Australian author and public intellectual whose work examines climate change, politics, technology, and contemporary society. He was Professor of Public Ethics at Charles Sturt University from 2008 to 2026 and was the founding Executive Director of The Australia Institute. In 2009 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his contribution to public debate and public policy.
