Festival Philosophia at Saint-Emilion (France)

From Tianamen to Tahrir, from Léonard de Vinci’s flying machines to the explosion of the internet, the desire for freedom has been there throughout time for individuals and for societies.
But the notion of freedom is conditional on different environments including society, education, individual choice and collective choice. The Philosophy Festival of Saint-Emilion explores these themes and more in a a five-day philosophy festival starting 22nd May 2013.
